Instant messengers, get them in order.
how many messengers do you use?
Skype? ICQ? Yahoo? MSN? Google Talk? etc?
There is a nice open source tool out there, called Miranda, what will Group all you Messenger in one window only and will take less computer resources as if all would be running in one time.
As Miranda installation is well explained, i will just talk about Google Talk, as i just installed it my self and this protocol runs over the Jabba client.
so if you install Miranda fresh, include Jabba too and read on, configure Miranda for Google Talk .
but if Miranda is already installed, without the Jabba Client, go to Jabber Protocol Plugin for Miranda IM and download under Stable Releases of:
Jabber protocol plugins
and
SSLEAY32.DLL and LIBEAY32.DLL
now, extract them and place the jabber.dll in the miranda Plugins Folder, found under C::\Program Files\Miranda IM\Plugins and the SSLEAY32.DLL and LIBEAY32.DLL under C:\Program Files\Miranda IM\ (where the Miranda.exe is). then open Miranda and follow this instruction:
configure Miranda for Google Talk
and you are done!
hey, don’t forget to tick “show epert options” in miranda options (left/down).
Miranda is really a great tool, specially when you have old friend on different messengers, just group them in one tool together!
