CPI SM250 Super-Motard
The clock is ticking, it’s getting real… down payment is done and i’m waiting for a CPI SM250.
delivery will be in ~2 month (please note we are in Mauritius) from NOW on!
I’m very excited and i wish the waiting time would be shorter. it been always a dream to have a 250cc and in Mauritius, with a 1B(German driving licence) you are allowed to drive any xxxxcc.
Very nice Mauritius!*lol* but i would never take a bigger one, as Mauritius is just to dangerous to drive and i know, if i would have the power, i would go for it.
but anyhow, the SM250 comes with:
Horse Power @ RPM: 24HP @ 8000 RPM
Engine: Liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4 stroke, OHC
Transmission: 6 speed
Torque @ RPM: 20 Nm @ 6000 RPM
Displacement: 249cc
Curb Weight: 107kg
it should drive over 130km/h and if additional speed is needed, it must be very easy to tune, in just changing the carburettor to a bigger one.
it’s seems the bike is running in Taiwan and in South Africa, production release seems to be arround mai 2008. i have read this SM250-motorcycle-review and all should be fine. the Guy seems to be a expert and the review is very positive about the bike.
do i need a new helmet, jacket? how I’m gone tell this my family??? :p

I’m sure you will love the bike.
Please note however that the bike comes from Taiwan and not Thailand, the differences between the two are rather big..
